Batman is an adorable 1.5 year old small basset hound mix whose original owner wanted him euthanized. Luckily, that vet in Kentucky refused to do so for a perfectly healthy dog and sought help from a rescue! 💙
Batman loves all children and adults that he has met so far. He loves to run around the backyard and get his exercise. He loves to play with toys 🧸 🎾 and really enjoys a good chew 🦴!! He is house trained and crate trained.
This cutie pie is working on his leash skills. He enjoys watching out the front window for people walking by. He’s great at security and will be sure to let you know when people arrive at your 🏡. We are working on greeting people as he tends to jump.
He likes to bark at 🐿️. He’s a bit of a counter surfer but doesn’t get into things he shouldn’t!
Batman would do best with a fenced yard or an active family who will get him out on regular walks and/or to the park for exercise. We think he would do well as the only pet or with a submissive 🐶 friend.

The veterinarian check will include verifying the applicant’s past/present dog(s) is/are altered (spayed/neutered), current on vaccines (not just Rabies), tested negative for Heartworm & on monthly preventatives.
