UPDATED 2/3/21:
Rosie is an 8 year old basset/collie/shepherd mix, to the best of our knowledge. She was reluctantly given up by her family, when they had to move. If you are looking for that special someone that is house trained, crate trained, loves to go for walks, and does well with both baths and nail trims (once she gets used to you), then Rosie is your gal! Rosie has had some seizures, over the last year. She is being monitored, but has not required medication at this point. Rosie would love to have her forever home consist of a senior citizen with a nice comfy couch for them and Rosie to cuddle on. Rosie only uses her crate to take a nap in now, at her foster home. She does well with submissive older dogs. She is good with cats and kids that are dog savvy. Rosie does prefer to dine alone. Rosie is not a huge fan of car rides. Rosie will need another calm dog (if there is another dog in the home) that respects her space in her forever home as well as a physically fenced in yard for her adoption requirements. She is being fostered in Parish, NY with cats and dogs.
