Savannah is a 2 year old female basset/shar pei mix. She is house trained, altered, and up to date on her vaccinations. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. Savannah is at a good weight for her height. Her coat is a nice rusty color. She is a very affectionate gal. She loves to give kisses and snuggle. Savannah is currently learning not to jump on people as a way of greeting.
Savannah loves to go for walks, but doesn’t stop to smell everything like the typical basset. She likes to go for walks and walks faster than they typical basset hound. She came to rescue with her own pretty, pink harness. She is not destructive at all in her foster home. She rides well in the car. She will share her toys with both her human and her foster siblings. Savannah loves to play with her foster sibling and they like to rough house together, since he is close to the same age. Savannah sleeps through the night. Savannah isn’t very food motivated, unlike the typical basset. She does still drool, like the typical basset. Savannah seems like she only likes to eat once a day. She doesn’t care for breakfast, but will eat all of her dinner. Savannah will make a great addition for anyone that is looking for a higher energy dog.
