Cubby spent his entire 4 years of life tied up outside in Kentucky. The owner was fed up with him peeing in the garage and tearing apart her flowers so she surrendered him. At the young age of 6 months, his owner ran over him with her car and broke his pelvis. Due to this, he may experience some arthritis in his older years.
Cubby is a very friendly boy who loves attention and pets. He has adjusted to home life very quickly and is house broken. Cubby does well with a routine and knows to go to the door for potty. Cubby is crate trained and does well sleeping in the crate at night. Cubby loves going for walks long or short and walks well on the leash. Cubby is happy to snuggle on the couch with you or romp outside with the other dogs in his foster home. Cubby would do well in a home with another dog. Cubby does not chase cats and would be ok in a home with cats. Cubby is easily excited and his foster is working on stopping him jumping in excitement. Cubby is a people pleaser and loves food and is taking to training well. Cubby knows sit, crate and is working on lay down.
