Ludo is a coonhound mix who was surrendered because his owner was having health issues. This handsome senior is super sweet. At 9 years old he’s in good health and can still be active, but he is also perfectly happy hanging out doing nothing with you. You won’t have to worry about finding ways to burn off energy with him.

Ludo loves people, and his favorite thing is to sit on the couch next to you, lay his head in your lap, and stare up at you adoringly.

He’s housetrained, good with kids, good with cats, and a pretty easy guy. When it comes to other dogs, Ludo is a dominant personality, who doesn’t like to share his toys and doesn’t like too much commotion (we call him the referee). He would do great as an only dog, or could get on well with a calmer submissive dog.

He’s neutered, up to date on his basic shots, and ready for adoption.

If you would like to be considered for adoption, please submit an application:

The veterinarian check will include verifying the applicant’s past/present dog(s) is/are altered (spayed/neutered), current on vaccines (not just Rabies), tested negative for Heartworm & on monthly preventatives.

Meet & greets are only scheduled for approved applicants.

Please consider making a donation towards our veterinary expenses: as Ludo was brought current on vaccines, tested & put on monthly preventatives.
