Kaylee is a 9 year old breeder release from Kentucky. She is a really sweet dog, just figuring out how not to be a mom.
While Kaylee has not been in foster care long, she is learning quickly that living in a house is awesome!
She loves tummy rubs! She shows no interest yet in doggie toys and she’s working on getting familiar with a leash.
Kaylee is excellent with the foster home’s teenagers with autism and their 2 dogs.
She is fully potty trained with the help of basset foster brother. At nighttime, she goes into the crate with lots of encouragement but once in she receives a treat and sleeps tight for the night.
She enjoys exploring in the fenced yard with the resident dogs. Kaylee is a bit timid and would do best in a home with another dog to keep showing her the ropes. ❤️
A veterinarian reference check & home check are required as part of the approval process.
The veterinarian check will include verifying the applicant’s past/present dog(s) is/are altered (spayed/neutered), current on vaccines (not just Rabies), tested negative for Heartworm & on monthly preventatives.
