Dexter was surrendered to ABC when his owners lost their home. He has a calm and sweet demeanor. He loves to go for walks and say hi to other dogs where he will bark and howl at them. When home he loves to snuggle and will get on the couch if you let him. Once he’s been walked he is content to sleep and lounge at home. He likes to beg at the table and counter surf. Dexter is house broken.
A veterinarian reference check & home check are required as part of the approval process.
The veterinarian check will include verifying the applicant’s past/present dog(s) is/are altered (spayed/neutered), current on vaccines (not just Rabies), tested negative for Heartworm & on monthly preventatives.
Meet & greets are only scheduled for approved applicants.
