Dessie is a sweet, playful and fully potty trained 6 year old female basset hound. She is enjoying being a house dog after years of being bred. Dessie loves playing with rope bones, nylabones and other dogs.
This girl is great on a leash, she comes to you when called and knows some commands. We are working on sit, that seems to be the one she is unsure of. She is cautious and not skittish. If she is still unsure of you or the situation she will drop down but still lift her head to look at you.
Dessie loves snuggles, pets and any attention she can get. She will do best in a home with other dogs.

The veterinarian check will include verifying the applicant’s past/present dog(s) is/are altered (spayed/neutered), current on vaccines (not just Rabies), tested negative for Heartworm & on monthly preventatives.
