Shea is an approximately 3-year-old pup weighing around 40 lbs, and she’s currently working on gaining some healthy weight. She’s doing well with house training and is highly food-motivated — she will happily do just about anything for a little cheese!
Shea is heartworm positive but is actively undergoing treatment through her veterinarian and is on the road to recovery. She would thrive in a home with another dog to help keep her company and build her confidence.
This sweet girl loves relaxing in a comfy chair or curling up in a cozy bed by your feet. Her foster family includes 3, 8 and 17 year old children, and dogs. Shea is learning to walk on a leash and is making great progress. She can be timid around some new people at first, but once she warms up, she becomes incredibly affectionate and will gladly soak up all the belly rubs she can get.
Shea is a gentle, loving companion just waiting for the right home to help her continue to blossom. 💛
