Romeo is a quiet, gentle lover boy. He was surrendered to ABC due to his mobility issues, which are significant. Romeo is unable to climb stairs and going for walks is not within his skill set at this time. He will be going to the vet this week to try to get to the cause of this issue. With any luck, there will be a successful treatment option and he will be able to show the fun guy he is inside.
He loves his foster mom’s dogs and is very gentle with her young grandchildren. Romeo’s foster home does not have cats but he previously lived with a cat. Not a big barker, but Romeo will let his foster mom know when there is someone at the door (or if the wind chimes bother him 😊). Romeo is content at home when his foster mom is away.
Due to Romeo’s mobility issues, a home without any stairs would be the perfect place for him to retire.
