Redford is a 2 year old rescue from a Kentucky breeding operation. He’s not used to being indoors or having warm interactions with humans, but he is quickly adapting to his new future!
Redford’s most recent favorite discoveries include warm blankets, couch snuggles, and ear massages. He has shown incredible success in housebreaking and leashed walks. Strangers still make him nervous, but calm and loving interaction will have him following you around never wanting to leave your side. He is still working out how to play with toys and enjoy bones and treats. Redford’s least favorite discovery so far is noisy moving vehicles disrupting his pleasant walks.
Redford is currently fostered in a home without children or other animals. He has had a great time taking leashed walks with other friendly dogs, however.
The veterinarian check will include verifying the applicant’s past/present dog(s) is/are altered (spayed/neutered), current on vaccines (not just Rabies), tested negative for Heartworm & on monthly preventatives.
